The Pendant records for you, not on you. Dual beamformed mics, a 32 GB local buffer, and a mute slide that mechanically disconnects the microphones — the state you can verify with a fingernail. Audio syncs over BLE or Wi-Fi to the destination you configure: your transcription stack, your notes app, a folder of WAVs. The reference pipeline uses your API keys; the pendant itself has no account, because there is no server for it to have an account on.
